Sweet Hope Inc. (formerly Sandee’s Candees) is a candy store and ice cream parlor located in downtown Nampa. In addition, they also serve lunch with some great looking sandwiches. They are the makers of “Spud Fudge” a fudge created by Sandee Tuck that uses potatoes to replace 1/3 of the sugar. You can’t get more Idahoan than that! Spud Fudge has been featured on the Food Network’s show Unwrapped and is sold in many local venues as well as stores nationwide. It comes in several different flavors and tastes wonderful!
In addition to offering delectable treats, Sweet Hope is also in charge of the community outreach initiative “The Hope Project”. Through this initiative, Sweet Hope donates approximately $2.00 for each pound of spud fudge they sell to help those in our community who have problems with addiction and other life-controlling behaviors. They call it their “pound for pound promise”, in their attempt to give everyone a little bit of “Sweet Hope”.
Sweet Hope Inc. is located at 113 14th Street in Downtown Nampa. In addition, you can visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SweetHopeInc. Their summer hours are from noon until 10 p.m. everyday. You can also call them at (208) 615-7434.
